<img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5313" title="Jennifer Carpenter as Debra Morgan and Michael C.
Dexter Morgan starts out on a boating expedition with Hannah McKay and the two seem to be enjoying themselves together. Out of the blue Dexter receives a call from work and suddenly has to leave on short notice.

At the same time Isaak Sirko, the head of the Ukranian mob requests the help and services of Dexter. He gives Dexter an Ultimatum of exposing himself and his safety or helping him take care of a little problem. Isaak explains there is a contract on is life and the killer is already in Miami preying on Jim.

As Dexter makes his way to the crime scene he bumps into his sister Debra Morgan and strikes up a convo. He admits that her love for Dexter is “logical” and he understands why she feels that way.

When Dexter finally arrives home he is confronted by Sirko and the two decide to work out their differences seeing that Sirko has taken Dexter’s love Hannah and captured her. The two sit down and do extensive research on the two assassins and decide how to execute their plan. Sirko asks Dexter why he kills and how he could possibly leave for food as his lovers life hangs in the balance. Dexter simply states that he will find out Dexter’s motives for murder if Hannah is harmed.

Dexter asks Debra to help him save Hannah and also get rid of Sirko. The two talk for a while and Debraends up going into a long speech and end sits with how she will help Dexter but not for Hannah’s sake;it’s for his.

LaGuerta is off an around town and decides to pay a visit to a well known Miami Metro Retiree, Tom who meddles in other people’s affairs. She explains how she believes the Bay Harbor Butcher is still at large and requests his help to find them. Tom rudely declines her offer and states that Doakes was the Bay Harbor Butcher period.

Debra and Dexter continue to have their own issues and Deb really worries about Dexter’s well being. Dexter then goes and takes out one of the two assassins and prepares to kill the second. The two decide to use Dexter as bait and then lure him into his fate.

Tom ultimately comes crawling back to LaGuerta and admits he was sour earlier about not wanting to help her. He says he was really hurt that LaGuerta prevented him from receiving his full benefits package, but understands whys he needs his help. The two then sit down to eat together.

At the same time, Hannah McKay and her caretaker are having another kind of meal.. She poisons her capturer and then knocks him unconscious, but then she passes out after being stabbed in the stomach. The two, capturer and capturee lay on the floor and one is found dead by Debra Morgan a little time later.

Returning to the action with Dexter and Isaak, the two are successful in their quest to kill both assassins but failed to leave unharmed. Sirko ultimately is betrayed by a third member of his enemies and decides to die where his lover Viktor is. Ironically this is where Dexter dumped him in the water and Sirko eventually lays where Viktor is at the bottom of the ocean.

Debra Morgan is then seen visiting Hannah McKay in the hospital and the two have a heart to heart conversation. At the end of the episode the triangle of love and confusion is all together as Dexter enters the hospital room where Hannah and Debra are. Debra doesn’t seem to happy about the two reuniting but is happy that Dexter is happy. Dexter ultimately breaks down and is on the verge of tears as he releases his emotions and feelings for Hannah.

This is a really great episode and one you don’t want to miss if you are an avid fan like myself.

This week’s episode of Dexter is titled “Argentina” and is awesome. Last week left off with Dexter Morgan receiving a call from his sister Debra. Debra Morgan is explaining to Dex how she wants him to “do his thing” on Hannah McKay, of whom Deb is convinced is a murderer. Dexter however is in love with Hannah and it seems unlikely that he will take care of her himself.
Dex then heads over to Debra’s house to convince her of Hannah’s reason for living. Debra is convinced that they will take her out but will require Dex’s help. Unfortunately love seems to be a huge barrier for both parties. Deb is attempting to avenge the murder of her past interest, whom Hannah killed. Dexter is on the other side defending his love interest Hannah McKay.

Isaak Sirko, head of the Ukranian mob is busy at work plotting and planning revenge against Dexter Morgan. He chooses to conduct a very explicit and public drive by shooting while Dexter is grabbing donuts. Although leaving unharmed, Dex barely missed the bullets as they shattered through the stores windows.

Meanwhile Debra pays a nice little visit to Hannah herself and vows to prove her guilt. Hannah shows her nervous side as Deb puts the pressure on.

Eventually Angel Bautista tells everyone that he is the proud new owner of the restaurant of his dreams. This is where everyone including Cody and Ester (Dexter’s two other kids) gathers for a nice lunch and chat time. Unfortunately the kids get into a fight, and Dexter finds out that his daughter is smoking pot. This is very upsetting and Dex and Deb have a serious chat with her about making good decisions.

At the very end of the episode Deb actually breaks down and says that she is in love with Dexter, her brother. Deb is crying and is visibly upset when he finds out that Dexter is in love with Hannah McKay. This has been boiling for a long time and now Deb actually admits she loves Dex. Dexter then sets out to go get Sirko whom is actively trying to kill Dexter. Dex’s father Harry Morgan continues to feed Dexter information and advice on his drive, but Dex ignores the warnings.

This week’s episode of Dexter was awesome! It starts off immediately where the last episode left off; Dexter Morgan and Hannah McKay are having sex on what was supposed to be her death bed. Dexter had previously tied her up and placed her on the table as one of Dexter’s other victims, but at the last minute changed his mind. This recent change of heart seems to stem from Dexter Morgan’s unrelenting ability to find women that are crazy, sometimes not just for him.

Dexter’s sister Debra Morgan is out on a hot date with the author of the book on Hannah McKay. The two hit it off and before the end of the night, the two are lip locked.

Dexter Moran and Hannah drive around Miami and for the first time actually get to know each other after many missed opportunities previously. Dexter really seems to like Hannah and she likes him a lot too. This could potentially be amazing but detrimental to Dexter’s already shifty credibility at the station. Dexter’s credibility also comes into question as the writer who now is dating Debra taunts Dexter with information. He blackmails Dexter by stating that he knows he protected Hannah McKay by intentionally tampering with blood evidence and blood slides. He also uses the budding relationship between Dexter and Hannah as grounds to gain information from Dexter. Harry Morgan continues to narrate to Dexter the importance of keeping his distance from Hannah, because what has happened with women in his past. And as usual Dexter ignores all signs of trouble and goes full steam ahead with the passion with Hannah. After seeing her multiple times he realizes that she is the first woman to generally accept both sides of Dexter. She accepts him as a series killer of murderers, but also accepts him for being a good guy. Dexter begins to ponder if there is a potential future for himself and Hannah.

Check Out This Video on Hannah’s Character too:

Trouble is brewing down at Miami Metro Homicide Department as the main evidence against Isaak Sirko (Head of The Ukrainian Mob) goes missing. What no one else knows at the time, is that Joey Quinn, one of Miami Metro’s very own has disposed of the blood evidence in order to save is female love interest. The mob played into Quinn’s soft side by blackmailing him with the girl he has developed a relationship with. Eventually Isaak goes free and everyone is nervous, especially Dexter who has a target on his head from Isaak personally.

As this is all happening Debra Morgan is opening new doors and turning new leads as far as looking into the credibility of Hannah. The writer also confronts Hannah and sets up back to back interviews with Hannah and Dexter respectively.

The interview with Hannah goes south very quickly as he is able to get a confession from her fairly easily. By the end of the interview Hannah is left in tears and can not even come to grips with the interview any longer. By the time he meets with Dexter for his interview, Dexter has already dug up tons of new evidence in a case regarding one of the author’s old cases. Apparently, according to Dexter’s research the author’s himself had some dirty laundry. Before any of this an come to light, the author drops dead in Dexter’s living room out of no where. Later n we find out that Hannah had in fact poisoned him and was hoping he would have been driving at the time of death.

At the end of it all Dexter and Hannah realize that they play a vital role in each others lives and they are better off tiger than separately.

LaGuerta begins to piece together that Dexter is a common factor In a lot of the Bay Harbor Butcher cases. This raises even more tension for Dexter and Debra at Miami Metro Police Department.

The most awkward thing happens at the very end of the show when Debra Morgan calls Dexter and requests that he makes thing right with Hannah McKay. As she is talking Dexter is laying next to Hannah in bed and simply Yeses Debra off the phone.

Sgt. Maria LaGuerta is getting hot on Dexter’s trail as she continues to believe the Bay Harbour Butcher may be at large. Dexter Morgan immediately begins to seek out another kill, and this time it is Hannah McKay one of the suspects in a nearly closed case of Wayne Randall.

After LaGuerta presents her claims to Debra Morgan, she instantly pulls Dexter aside and speaks with him to no avail. After minutes of arguing Dexter is forced to leave Debra’s house after she tell him to leave. Debra Morgan believes Dexter should be more forthcoming about his past and present of being a serial killer.

As Dexter leaves his unfortunate conversation with his sister, he is prowling the property of Hannah McKay. He believes that she may be the murderer in multiple cases and has blood evidence to support guilt absolutely in at least one case. Eventually after their cat and mouse games of showing up unexpectedly on each others doorstep, they sit down and talk at length. Dexter hints that he wants to “Take her out” and then romantically agrees that he is referring to a date.

While all of this is happening Debra finally gives in to a crime writer that has been begging her for a date. Debra and the writer seem to have a fairly good conversation and he introduces one of his new theories and projects. Unfortunately he has similar thoughts about Hannah McKay and with the guarantee of a kiss from Deb, he produces the proper evidence in the Hannah McKay case that was previously closed.

Before Deb can even gain any traction on the case, Dexter has Hannah tied up on one of his kill tables. And as no one would have ever expected, Dexter does not kill her. In fact he cuts her free and has sex with her. That is the ending scene to this dramatic episode. Tune in next week for more!

In this weeks episode of Dexter the pressure is really picking up for Debra Morgan and her brother Dexter Morgan. Since the opening episode of the season the two have kept the very big secret of Dexter’s second life as a serial killer.

Vince Masuka is worried again about his job when he confesses to Debra that he allowed LaGuerta to send a blood sample found at Travis Marshall’s murder scene to an outside agency. With all signs pointing that Maria LaGuerta is hiding something Debra asks her why she had them sent to an outside lab. LaGuerta explains her theory of James Doakes’ innocence and that the Bay Harbor Butcher may still be alive.

Maria LaGuerta is on to Dexter’s trail, but all she knows is that Doakes may not have actually been the infamous Bay Harbor Butcher. Lucky for Dexter his sister Debra is pretty smart and helps him avoid detection and able to remain under Miami Metro’s radar. The cover is almost blown when LaGuerta requests photos from the wedding of one of the Bay Harbor Butcher’s victims. LaGuerta has a hunch that the killer may have attended the wedding prior to the murder, and believe it or not she is right. Unfortunately the true killer, as revealed to the audience, Dexter is in those pictures. Debra is able to get them brought back to Miami Metro for collection and evidence, no ultimately removes the ones her brother can be seen in.

Another twist in the plot is when Dexter comes face to face with Isaac Sirko, the head of the Ukrainian mob, with whom he has developed a beef. Eventually instead of killing Sirko through an elaborate mouse trap Dexter sets up, he ends upsetting himself up. He pinned two major drug lords against each other in a mutual meeting assuming Sirko would be killed; instead Sirko overpowered his opponents that outnumbered him and walked away unscratched.

This left him very angry and more suspicious of Dexter. Eventually Dexter gives in to Debra’s reasoning and allows Sirko to be arrested by Miami Metro instead of killing him himself. Dexter then goes to visit Sirko in jail and asks him if everything is over now that he is behind bars. Sirko then goes on to tell a story of his relative that was very patient and waited many years to get revenge; ultimately he tells Dexter ‘No’. The episode ends with Debra’s and Dexter’s safety being up in the air and more tension than ever…

The drama continues in episode 4 of Dexter Season 7 titled “Run”. Debra Morgan is still trying to rationalize and come to grips with the reality of her brother Dexter Morgan being a serial killer. As the episode begins Debra, Dexter, and the rest of the team at Miami Metro is quickly forming their case against Ray Speltzer, a suspected murderer.

The team eventually catches Speltzer and bring him into the station for questioning. At fist he is quiet and does not give into the interrogation strategy; then Debra takes a shot at it. Debra Morgan sits down with Speltzer and basically evokes a confession out of him, of which the team is extremely pleased. Unfortunately after reviewing footage from the investigation, Miami Metro realizes that they never informed Speltzer of his rights, so his confession was ruled inadmissible in court by a judge. With this, Speltzer was set free to go.

Check out some photos below:

Dexter Morgan decided that having Speltzer out on the streets free to kill again was too much for him. He sends his son Harrison away for a few days as he begins to figure out how to snag Speltzer. Eventually Dexter Morgan and Speltzer cross paths, but unfortunately Dexter ends up on the wrong side and is forced to fight his way through Speltzer’s maze of death in his house. After escaping, Dexter realizes he must get rid of Speltzer quickly before he escapes again. Dexter eventually is able to subdue Speltzer at the cemetery where he is employed and ultimately sends him and his slides from other murders through the cremation machine.

As all of this is unfolding, Angel Batista and Joey Quinn are busy following up on the murder of their own police officer down at the strip club. Angel Batista is not too excited to find out that Joey Quinn seems to be developing a relionship with one of the girls at the club named Nadia. Isaac Sirko, the head of the Ukrainian Mob that runs the strip club gives one of his employees Alex an ultimate: kill himself with the gun used to kill Viktor (and the police officer) and take the blame for the murder or his family in Russia will be killed. He chooses to save his family and ultimately sends a bullet through his head and kills himself with a ‘suicide note’ and confession on the table.

There are definitely a lot of twists and turns in this new episode of Dexter, so be sure to tune in next week for episode 5!

Episode 3 in the dramatic seventh season of Showtime television series Dexter begins with Wayne Randall’s (convicted murderer that committed suicide) mother bringing in extra belongings that she has held onto for her son. The emotional meeting at Miami Metro is short-lived and they gather the evidence in order to bring closure and comfort to the victims’ families. The evidence also brings Hannah McKay, one of Randall’s accomplices, to the forefront of Miami Metro as she may have new evidence and information relating to the killings. Hannah McKay and Dexter Morgan seem to hit it off really well and both give very interesting responses to one another as Dexter grabs a moth swab for DNA evidence.

As you continue reading enjoy some images from Episode 3 of Dexter:

This episode also sees tension between Dexter Morgan and Louis (Masuka’s assistant). Louis is out to get Dexter and is finding out piece by piece exactly how Dexter operates. He even goes as far as to cancel Dexter’s credit cards in order to create troubles and obstacles for Dexter. When Dexter figures out who is behind all of the mischief, he is very angry and enraged. Dexter then sets out to make sure that Louis is gone for good and discretely sets Louis up by returning evidence from an old case that Louis had taken for himself. When Masuka finds out that Louis has been stealing from the department he is immediately fired. Louis then begins to plot and plan another attack on Dexter Morgan. Unfortunately Louis finds himself in a bad situation when Isaac Sirko, the head of the Ukrainian Mob confronts him as he is sabotaging Dexter’s boat. Sirko believes Dexter Morgan (owner of that boat slip) is responsible for the murder of his son and employee Viktor. Dexter was not home at the time, so Louis ultimately pays the price for Dexter’s actions and is killed on the spot and dumped by Sirko’s men.

Another important player in the third episode is Ray Speltzer, who is a suspect in two murder cases with Miami Metro. Although Ray Speltzer has not been convicted or even arrested (from lack of evidence), Dexter Morgan sets his sights on the suspicious cemetery grounds keeper. At one point he even pulls his sister Debra Morgan aside to explain how Ray Speltzer is exactly why he does what he does. Debra instantly snaps Dexter out of it by telling him that he must ‘play by the rules’ and let the police bring him in for a fair trial.

As time elapses Debra realizes that maybe Dexter is right, and that the police cannot always bring tru justice to criminals like Ray Speltzer. She then sets off to do some investigating of her own at Speltzer’s residence. When she hears the screams of a young woman coming from the house, she instinctively runs in with her gun drawn. She then finds herself in a maze of barbed wire and dangerous twists and turns as Speltzer plays a sick sexual game with the young woman who is running for her life. Speltzer soon realizes that he and his female prey are not alone and tries to hunt down Debra Morgan. Just in time as always, Dexter comes to the rescue and saves his sister, but Speltzer escapes.

At the end of the episode Debra concludes that maybe what Harry Morgan taught Dexter is a necessary evil in order to keep the true cycle of justice rolling. If Dexter would have killed Speltzer when he had the chance, the net result would have been one life saved and a killer would have been put away for good. Now Debra has to chase down this killer and has another victim on her hands…

As the second episode of Dexter begins, we see Dexter Morgan taking responsibility and ownership of his murderous and serial killer tendencies. He confesses to his sister Debra Morgan that he is in fact the serial killer that Miami Metro has been following for quite some time. Debra is really shocked and appalled at this news and initially wants to report him to the police.

Dexter Morgan pleads with his sister to ‘understand’ and to hear him out. He explains that their father, Harry Morgan was the one who taught Dexter everything he knows and that his killing in fact serves a good purpose. The two go back and forth the entire episode debating on the moral grounds of ‘good’ and ‘bad’.

One dramatic turning point in episode 2 is the fact that Debra Morgan forces her brother to move in with her. She does this as an attempt to keep him from his ‘late night adventures’ and ultimately monitors him very closely. This causes great stress for Dexter and he feels like a trapped animal with no freedom to move around. This built up tension causes Dexter to act out and he even gets violent with one of the suspects in another murder trial during questioning. As Dexter has to try and remain calm and keep it together he is also fending off others who seem to be closing in on his personal space.

Some photos from the episode:

The tension between assistant Louis and Dexter Morgan also begins to escalate during this episode. Louis is persistent and consistent of making Dexter Morgan’s life incredible difficult, of which Dexter himself is not too fond. At one point during the episode Dexter even makes Louis his next target, but is unable to kill him due to his guilt of the promise to his sister to remain ‘good’.

Joey Quinn and Detective Angel Batista have no time to rest as they are fresh on the trail of the murder of one of their own, Det. Mike Anderson. Lucky enough for Joey Quinn, he finds himself beginning the investigation at a strip club surrounded by beautiful foreign women. He even gets a little friendly with one of the strippers named Nadia, and the two seem to begin a personal relationship.

Dexter Morgan also finds a weird comfort talking to convicted murderer Wayne Randall, who takes police to the bodies of many of his victims. For Dexter he feels close to Randall because he too understands what it is like to take another man’s life, but wonders how other people can live with it themselves. Dexter asks Randall a few questions and seems to be gaining intellectual insight into hi own life. This dream is literally killed as Randall jumps in front of a moving semi-truck and commits suicide Ironically enough Dexter is the one left with blood on his hands (and rest of his body) as the episode comes to a dramatic end.

In the gripping season opener for the hit Showtime television series Dexter many old relationships surface as new relationships take form. At the end of the sixth season the series concluded with Debra Morgan stumbling onto Dexter Morgan’s murder of Travis Marshall. Debra Morgan is forced to either turn her brother Dexter over to the Miami Metro Police Department or help him cover up the murder scene she has just witnessed. The choice for Debra ultimately boiled down to her commitment and love of her family, namely Dexter over what would be seen as ‘morally right’. Some images of the action unfolding in Episode 1 of Season 7:

Debra Morgan heads over to the local gas station to pump a few gallons of gasoline while Dexter begins cleaning up the church and sanctuary, where Travis Marshall’s dead body is now on display. When Debra returns, Dexter ignites the gasoline and sets the entire place ablaze to remove and burn any trace of their guilt and evidence left at the scene. For the first time ever Dexter Morgan is now faced with the harsh reality of exposing his lifestyle to someone who could alarm the police. Up until now the only people aware of his ‘dark passenger’ and habits are the people he kills right before they die and a few others that tried to expose him (ironically they all ended up dying too). This new development completely changes the relationship between Debra Morgan and Dexter Morgan as she begins to piece together all the events that has transpired throughout the show. She realizes that the way she was once tied up on a metal pan was very similar to the way Dexter had tied up Travis Marshall and ‘prepped him’ for killing. Debra also begins to question whether or not Dexter has murdered before. She begins drawing on many different feelings and thoughts to conclude that in fact Dexter is quite possibly a serial killer. These thoughts and accusations come full circle as Dexter walks into the house and finds Debra looking through all of his killing instruments, blood slides, and killing trophies. The ending scene of Episode 1 of Season 7 of Dexter is Debra asking her brother this simple question:

Are You…A Serial Killer?
