Kobe Bryant and Vanessa Bryant Call Off Divorce

Kobe and Vanessa Bryant make their debut as a couple, again. The  on-again, off-again, on-again couple were spotted last night hitting up the Warner Bros. Golden Globes after-party together, just days after Vanessa called off the split.

The couple announced last week that they were pulling the plug on the divorce. “We are pleased to announce that we have reconciled. Our divorce action will be dismissed” Vanessa posted on her Instagram. “We are looking forward to our future together.  Kobe shared the news on his Facebook page as well. “I am happy to say that Vanessa and I are moving on with our lives together as a family,” Kobe wrote Friday. “When the show ends and the music stops, the journey is made beautiful by having that someone to share it with. Thank you all for your support and prayers!” The two were spotted together at the 12-12-12 Concert and on New Years Eve.

Looks like Kobe dodged a ball. The NBA star was looking at paying $150 million in the divorce settlement, as well as their three homes reported to $75 million. Since the pair had no pre-nup and because California is a community property state, Vanessa may be entitled to half her ex-earnings during their 10 year marriage. If the divorce would have gone through, Bryant would be looking at paying an expected $25,244,493 within the first year of the divorce.
