Jessica Simpson rumored to be pregnant with 2nd child

She worked hard to lose the baby weight but now it appears that Jessica Simpson is getting ready to give her 7 month-old daughter Maxwell Drew and little brother or sister. Rumors have been circulating all week that the star and her beau, Eric Johnson, are expecting their second child but so far a publicist for Simpson has only said: “I’m not going to comment on this speculation.”

Simpson, who is the latest celebrity to become a spokesperson for Weight Watchers, talked to PEOPLE last may saying: “I don’t want to have another baby right away but I do want to have more kids. Having babies back to back has to be so hard. I really want to give Maxwell all of the love and time that I possibly can give her. When I feel like it’s the right time to bring another little one into the family, I will.” Perhaps that time came a little sooner that Simpson originally planned.
