James Franco To Star In Reality Show

On top of dominating the big screen, James Franco is about to try his hand at reality TV. The actor announced the news via Instagram on Wednesday.

Fans of the star will totally be geeked to see a glimpse of his life, but Franco doesn’t seem too excited. “There’s a new show on Ovation TV called James Franco Presents. Just a bunch of crazy stuff, look out for it,” said the actor in a monotone voice.

Ovation TV announced that the series will premiere in November of this year and will feature the “real-life adventures” of the versatile actor. They noted that the show will “provide an exclusive opportunity to hear Mr. Franco’s point of view on his mot-personal passion projects, most of which have not been seen by the public.” Exciting!

I’d imagine the series will be similar to Jackass and Entourage considering the group of actors Franco interacts with. Picture “This Is The End” minus the apocalypse.

“This is a show where content dictates form and from dictates content. It is an art show that is an art piece, meaning the show has synced with the rhythms of my life and work,” said Franco in a statement.

James Franco will act as both host and executive producer of the series, which airs on Ovation TV this November.
