Lindsay Lohan speaks out on Amanda Bynes’ recent run in with the law

Former child star Amanda Bynes has been making headlines for a week now for driving erratically around Hollywood on a suspended license and fellow troubled star Lindsay Lohan took to Twitter yesterday to ask a question that is probably on most of our minds at this point: Why isn’t Bynes in more serious trouble for her reckless behavior. Late Sunday Lohan posted the following tweet “Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?+,” and while some might find the post catty it does raise a real question. Over the last several months Bynes has racked up a DUI and well as two charges of hit and run and then despite having her license suspended spent the weekend joy riding about Los Angeles. Since reports emerged Bynes car has been impounded and she will be headed to court later this month but many friends are starting to worry about the former actress’s mental health.
