Howard Stern returning for Season 8 of America’s Got Talent

It was announced today that shock-jock turned talent judge, Howard Stern will be returning for Season 8 of “America’s Got Talent.” Stern had originally signed on for just season of the NBC hit show and has so far remained mum as to whether he would return for another one, but as of today his return is official.

The radio personality made the announcement today on the “Howard Stern Show” on SIRIUS XM Satellite radio, saying: “I really feel my work is unfinished there. I really do think I can find a superstar act. I really just feel like I can do something great.”

Stern says that his favorite thing about being a judge on “America’s Got Talent” is that is gives non-singers a shot at stardom.

Fellow judge Sharon Osbourne will not be returning this season. No word as yet as to who will be assuming her seat on the judge’s panel.
