His world tour may already be underway but that didn’t stop teen sensation Justin Bieber from announcing 31 additional dates in North America.
The young singer, who recently cleaned up at the American Music Awards, will be playing dates around the US through the end of January before heading abroad but MTV confirmed today that Bieber will be returning to the states this summer to kick off the second leg of his Believe Tour in San Diego on June 22nd. From there the tour will travel around the US and Canada with major stops planned in Las Vegas, Toronto, New York City and Chicago before the final show in Atlanta, Georgia on August 10th.
Justin Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, spoke out last week regarding his clients snub at the Grammy nominations, tweeting: “The kid deserved it. Grammy board u blew it on this one. the hardest thing to do is transition, keep the train moving. the kid delivered.”

While it’s been widely reported that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have called it quits, the two were spotted in Los Angeles on Monday looking very much a couple. Paparazzi followed Selena into a local hospital Monday while the Biebs waited patiently nearby in a parked black SUV. While many reporters on hand suspected that Selena was perhaps pregnant, celebrity website TMZ has discovered that Gomez was at the hospital to have a suspected throat infection checked out. Later in the day they were seen out to dinner together.

It’s been a busy week for the possibly back on couple who, despite a major blow-out on Friday night, attended an AMA after party together and who were seen holding hands as they left the Nokia Theatre. The young lovers looked so cozy that it prompted AMA presenter Jenny McCarthy to tweet: “My cub @justinbeiber brought his acceptable and beautifully aged beauty Selena to the AMA after-party. Guess I’m back on the prowl. Rww!”

It was a big night for 18 year-old Justin Bieber, who took home 3 awards last night at the American Music Awards. Bieber was up against some of the biggest names in pop music including Katy Perry and Rihanna but still manages to snag the coveted Artist of the Year honor. He also took home favorite pop/rock make artist and favorite pop/rock album for his latest LP ‘Believe.’

Justin Bieber took a moment to thank his mother Pattie Mallette, during his first acceptance speech, dedicating the award to her and saying; “This is for all the haters who thought that maybe I was just here for one or two years, but I feel like I am going to be here for a very long time.”

Winners were chosen through online fan votes and were passed out last night during a live broadcast from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, which also featured performances by some of the biggest names in the pop music industry including Gangnam style rapper, Psy and Stevie Wonder.

90’s rapper MC Hammer joined Korean pop superstar Psy on stage at the American Music Awards held last night at the Nokia Theatre, to perform a very special version of Gangnam style.

Psy had the honors of closing down the AMA’s last night and took to the stage in a pair of black ‘Hammer’ pants. Half way through his hit song Gangnam style, the singer shouted ‘Stop, Hammertime’ and was joined on stage by the iconic Hammer himself, 50 year old Stanley Kirk Burrell. The two took on an energetic performance of the Gangnam style dance, much to the delight of a star studded audience. Heidi Klum and Kerrie Washington could be seen singing along from the crowd and performer Will.i.am, who introduced the number appeared extremely enthusiastic about the performance.

Psy, whose crazy pop video has had almost 800 million views, made it into the Guinness Book of World Records this morning for the most liked video in Youtube history.

Reps for the American Music Awards announced the final line up of presenters on Friday for tonight’s big show at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Among those who will be making an appearance on stage are the Backstreet Boys, 50 Cent, Stacy Keibler, Ginnifer Goodwin, Ne-Yo, Heidi Klum, Jenny McCarthy, Cyndi Lauper and Ryan Seacrest. The night will also feature a very special tribute to the show’s creator Dick Clark, performed by the legendary Stevie Wonder and a performance by pop star Taylor Swift. This will be the 40^th annual broadcast of the awards and the 6^th year that fans can pick the winners by voting on line. The show will air tonight from 8-11. For those that want a sneak preview of what the stars are wearing this year will feature the 4^th annual, online, live pre-show where hosts like Lance Bass and Sean Kingston will be welcoming guests and celebrities.
