Actress Sally Struthers, as well known for her public service announcements as her roles on “All in the Family” and “The Gilmore Girls” was arrested early Wednesday morning for drunk driving in Ogunquit, Maine. According to officials Struthers, age 65, was pulled over around 12:30 am after being spotted driving erratically and was taken into custody on charfes of operating a vehicle under the influence of Alcohol. Sally Struthers was in Maine starring in a production on the musical “9-5” at the Ogunquit Playhouse. The show began August 23rd and closed last Saturday. Officials say the Emmy winning actress was cooperative with authorities and posted a $165 bail and was released later Wednesday night. Struthers will have to return to York District Court on December 13th and if found guilty is facing a $400 fine and a license suspension of 90 days. A rep for Struthers said that the actress is working and doing well and plans on denying all charges.
