Rihanna continues to commemorate her seventh studio album, Unapologetic, and graces seven covers inspired by each of her albums for the February/March issue of Complex Magazine. In the issue, the singer talks about lighthearted topics like getting the best Instagram selfie award to more interesting ones like her collaboration with Chris Brown. The seven covers were shot by photographer Zoe McConnell and all seven styles were outfitted by Mel Ottenberg.
Rihanna discusses her love for Instagram and how to get the perfect selfie with Complex Magazine. “It’s narcissistic, but whatever –everyone does it,” she says. “I’m catching personality ..Everybody has their thing they like or don’t like about to see. It’s all in your head. That’s why people take their own pictures, because it’s difficult for someone else to capture what you seek.”
Instagram has also become a source for the singer to share photos of herself alongside ex boyfriend, Chris Brown. The two split in February 2009 after Brown assaulted the singer before the Grammy’s. Recently, rumors have been going rabid over the couple reuniting from intimate photos of the two together on their Instagrams have been popping up all over. Both continue deny a relationship. Unapologetic features Chris Brown in an appropriately named track “Nobody’s Business”. When asked about the collaboration, the singer simply replied, “it’s nobody’s business.”
Rihanna, hot off her 777 Tour, will be touring again for the Diamonds World tour beginning this spring. A$AP Rocky will be the opening act for the show whose debut album “LongLiveA$ap” releases on January 15.
