Photographer Chris Guerra Killed While Tailing Bieber’s Ferrari

Chris Guerra, a freelance photographer tasked with taking pictures of Justin Bieber, was fatality hit by a car while tailing the pop star’s white Ferrari 458 Italia. According to authorities, Bieber’s Ferrari was pulled over by California Highway Patrol on the 405 freeway for speeding and was directed to pull off the highway and onto Sepulveda Blvd.

Guerra had been following Bieber’s Ferrari all day because he thought he saw Justin smoking weed in the sports car, telling a friend that he was on the verge of breaking a very big story. Once the Ferrari was pulled over on Sepulveda Blvd. Guerra crossed the street hoping to get pictures of Bieber getting a ticket. Guerra was ordered to go back to his car on the other side of the road twice by CHP, and when he tried to cross the street and go back he was struck by an oncoming vehicle and killed.

What Guerra did not know was Bieber was not driving when the Ferrari got pulled over, it was his good friend Lil’Twist from YMCMB. Justin Bieber released a statement about the tragic accident, saying “Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves.”
