Ol Dirty Bastard and Eazy E To Hit Stage Via Hologram At Rock The Bells’

Tupac isn’t the only late rapper making an appearance on stage via hologram. Ol Dirty Bastard and Eazy E are set to take the stage at the Rock the Bells’ hip hop festival tour in holographic form as well this year.

If you remember, Tupac Shakur joined the stage with former Death Row label-mates Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg at the 2012 Coachella festival. The appearance was a major success and launched frenzy around what many thought would become a prominent trend in the entertainment industry. However, holograms has yet to be a used as much in hip hop, but are starting to pick up. Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, who died on April 25, 2002 in a car accident,  will be joining T-Boz and Chilli on the TLC reunion tour via hologram.

Ol Dirty Bastard did of an accidental overdose in 2004, will join Wu Tang Clan on stage at the hip hop festival. Eazy E, former member of NWA, died of complications of AIDS in 1995. He will join the stage with Bone-Thugs-n-Harmony at the event.

Other acts of the Rock the Bell’s lineup includes Big K.R.I.T., Kid Cudi, Juicy J, Common, OF members Tyler the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt, and Jurassic 5. The four city tour begins in September to early October with stops at San Bernardino, California, Mountain View, California, Washington, D.C, and Rutherford, N.J.
