Matt Damon Takes Over Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Jimmy Kimmel has spent years apologizing to Matt Damon for not having time to fit him on the show, Matt Damon got his revenge on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. The Oscar winner took over the late night show with some help from his famous friends.

While Jimmy Kimmel was tied up to a swivel chair, Matt Damon took over as host for the late night show. Damon started out by saying, “Welcome to tonight’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Sucks. Just for starters, let me ask you guys this: ‘As an audience, is it weird to see a person with actual talent host this show?”

Damon kept the jabs coming all night adding “I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long, long time. This is like the time I lost my virginity, except this is going to last way longer than one second.”

The Oscar winner even replaced Kimmel’s sidekick, Guillermo with actor Andy Garcia. The band leader was replaced by Sheryl Crow, and Damon brought in Robin Williams to take over the monologue.  Surprisingly, Ben Affleck was more supportive of Jimmy Kimmel than his bromance with Damon. Affleck held cue cards up that praised Jimmy that Damon read off. “He doesn’t love you like I love you,” yelled Damon as Affleck ran out conflicted between his love for Jimmy and Damon.

The special guests kept rolling in, with appearances by Jennifer Lopez, Sally Field, John Krasinski, Robert De Niro, Don Cheadle and Oprah Winfrey, all stopping by to give praise to the new host.
