Green Day is getting back on the road in 2013

It was a rough year for the band Green Day as their lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong headed for another stint in rehab but the band is ready to put the past behind them and get the show back on the road in 2013. The punk rockers announced today that their postponed tour is back on, saying: “ We want to thank everyone for hanging in with us for the last few months. We are very excited to hit the road and see all of you again, though we regret having to cancel more shows.”

Billie Joe also took to the band’s website to let everyone know that his condition was improving. “I just want to thank you all for the love and support you’ve showed for the past few months,” he said. “Believe me, it hasn’t gone unnoticed and I’m eternally grateful to have such an amazing set of friends and family. I am getting better everyday.”
