Drew Barrymore welcomes baby girl

Actress Drew Barrymore and her husband Will Kopelman are the proud parents of a new baby girl. Olive Barrymore Kopelman was born last Wednesday and the couple has issued a statement to let everyone know that their daughter is “healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family.” Barrymore and Kopelman were married last June in an intimate ceremony at the actresses home in Montecito, California and Barrymore was quick to let the world know that she was excited to start a family. The actress told Jay Leno of the tonight show earlier this year that “we’ll start with one. See how it goes and if we could be so blessed…that would be wonderful.” Well the actress has gotten her wish. The couple kept the pregnancy very quiet, not officially announcing it to the press. Up until just a week or two ago Barrymore was still out and about and practicing yoga. Speculation is that their daughter was named after a character of the same name that Barrymore lent her voice to back in 1999.
