Dina Lohan accuses ex-husband of domestic abuse

Always one to make headlines, Dina Lohan told reporters at a Long Island hotel that Lindsay is so screwed up because she was witness to a violent marriage that included physical abuse and rape while she was growing up. Dina came armed with police and medical reports to back up her claims that her ex, Michael Lohan, was abusive throughout their 22 year marriage. “Lindsay saw her dad abuse me – that’s why she’s so screwed up,” the former dancer told reporters.

Michael was contacted by reporters about the allegation Sunday night, which he called “evil lies” and questioned Dina’s motives in dredging up the past.  He adamantly denies that he was abusive to Dina Lohan during their marriage.

You have to wonder how Lindsay will handle the latest melodrama to unfold around her infamous parents. The troubled young star already has a rough month ahead with court appearances in both New York and Los Angeles and could once again be facing jail time.
