Pop star Bruno Mars is still number one on the Billboard Hot 100 with his monster single “Locked Out Of Heaven,” which has been holding down that spot for three weeks straight. Bruno Mar’s single also sat at the top spot on the Radio Songs chart for the first time, and maintains it’s lead in Digital and On-Demand Songs. Mar’s also made history with “Locked Out Of Heaven” as the first single from a male solo artist to lead the Hot 100, Digital Song sales and downloads, and Radio Songs at the same time.
The last male artist to complete that feat was Eminem with his “Love the Way You Lie” single featuring Rihanna, the week of Aug. 28, 2010. Bruno Mar’s single ties him with Sean and T.I.P with four Radio Songs No.1, putting him at fifth on the Billboard chart history among men. The only male solo artists ahead of Mars are Usher with seven, Ludacris & Kanye West with six each and 50 Cent with a respectable five Radio Songs No.1. Mariah Carey leads all acts with 11 Radio Songs No. 1s.
