Big Sean, leading up to the release of his new album Hall of Fame, rolls out his new vlog explaining how the rapper’s imagination helped him reach success. His album drops later this year on December 18.
Big Sean debut album, Finally Famous, premiered last year after the mixtape triology of the same name. Sean instantly became one of the hottest rappers in the game and is slowly straying from his role as Kanye West’s sidekick. He intends to prove that with his sophomore album Hall of Fame: Memoirs of a Detroit Player. But, before the release, Big Sean is releasing a number of vlogs telling his story.
The Detroit rapper released the first installment in the vlog series, “Imagination”. The vlog details how his creative mind helped his music direction. He also shares moments of him spending time with the G.O.O.D music crew, Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa, Trey Songz, and more.
In the first video, the rapper channels Albert Einstein and his stance on imagination stating, “imagination is more important than intelligence “. Sean gives a monologue about belief in dreams and how he’s continued to work hard despite the many people telling him to do something more feasible than rap. Sean takes you on his journey to realizing his dreams through sharing his success along the way.
The rapper released mixtape Detroit in September. The mixtape shared personal experiences from other rappers about their time in Detroit.
