Michael J. Fox retired from television almost a decade ago to focus on fighting his Parkinson’s disease but thanks to a new drug regiment it seems that the actor may be ready to step back out into the spotlight. Though an official announcement has yet to be made sources familiar with the actor are saying that Sony Pictures Television is developing a new sitcom for the fall of 2013 that would feature the iconic actor. According to the site Vulture.com all 4 major networks are considering bidding on the project. Fox was diagnosed with the disease back in 1991 and has been a strong advocate for finding a cure starting a nonprofit organization and appearing before congress. His recent improvement in health has permitted him to make guest appearances on shows like the Good Wife, Rescue Me and Curb Your Enthusiasm but this will be his first feature roll since 2000.
