Aretha Franklin Tour Cancelled Due To Health Concerns

Legendary soul singer Aretha Franklin has been gearing up to go out on a small tour and perform for her fans, but doctor’s recommended that she cancels the plans.

According to a Monday news release, Franklin is slated to undergo treatment during the time she was supposed to perform at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra on May 20 and at Foxwoods Resort & Casino in Connecticut on May 26. The news release did not say what she was undergoing treatment for and her camp has been mum about the whole thing. Janelle Monae has been tapped to perform in Franklin’s absence at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Corporate Night fundraiser.
