Kanye West has been hinting about a new album dropping soon. During a Polish music festival, DJ Hudson Mohawke premiered two brand new Kanye West tracks in his DJ set.
Mohawke appeared at the Free Form Music Festival in Poland when he dropped a first listen to the latest tracks from Kanye West. The songs are yet to be titled. Many fans captured the moment on mobile devices. One track features the emcee rapping: “There’s leaders and there’s followers but I’d rather be a dick than a swallower.
Hudson Mohawke is a Scottish producer, who is also a part of the duo TNGHT. He signed with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music in 2012 and helped produce tracks on “Cruel Summer” including “Mercy” with features by Big Sean, Pusha T, and 2 Chainz.
Recently, Mr. West has had everyone wondering when the new album will drop. He tweeted cryptically “June Eighteen”, having everyone torn on if it’s the date of his first child’s birth, release of the clothing line he’s been working on, or the album date? Just before the tweet it was reported that Kanye has finished recording his new album, the follow up to 2010’s ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”. Kanye recently performed at the Met Gala where he performed a new song entitled “I Am A God”.
Notable features such as Skrillex and Odd Future are rumored to appear on the forthcoming album. IT was also previously revealed that Daft Punk also have worked on tracks on the new album.
