Paternity Suit Filed Against Michael Jordan For Alleged Son

According to TMZ, Michael Jordan had been sued by a woman who claims he is the father of his 16-year-old son and has asked for a paternity test to prove it.

Pamela Smith filed a paternity suit against the former NBA player on February 6 in Fulton County, GA. She claims that she became pregnant after having sex with Michael Jordan in 1995 and gave birth to her son, Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds in June 1996. During that time, Jordan was married to Juanita Vanoy.

In the document, Smith asks for a paternity test to prove that Michael Jordan is the father and asks for full custody and child support. She also wants Jordan to pay for the kid’s medical expenses and to make Jordan the legal last name of her son.

The documents do not state that Smith and Jordan were in a relationship. The son, who goes by Taj, posted a YouTube video in December declaring that he was the secret son of Michael Jordan and wants to spend more time with him.

There has been no comments from Michael Jordan on the suit. Jordan proposed to his girlfriend Yvette Prieto in December of 2011. This will make the second marriage for the former NBA champion. He currently has three kids with Juanita, Jeffrey Michael, Marcus James, and Jasmine.
