Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher finally call it quits

Although the end of the world came and went without so much as a hiccup, Ashton Kutcher finally filed for divorce from Demi Moore after more than a year of a tension filled and frustrating relationship. The divorcee papers were drawn up and filed in a Los Angeles superior court on Friday according to People. Irreconcilable differences were cited as the reason for the split and Ashton will not be asking for any kind of spousal support. The divorce should go relatively smoothly with no kids in the picture.

“It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton,” Moore said in a statement back in November 2011. “As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.”
