She’s only been out of the hospital for a few days but Kate Middleton, who just recently announced to the world that she is expecting her first child, has fallen ill again with acute morning sickness and her husband, Prince William, rushed to be by her side. For now the Duchess of Cambridge will remain at home at Kensington Place rather than returning to the hospital but Prince William canceled his engagements for the weekend so that he could remain by his young bride’s side.
Middleton has been diagnosed with a rare pregnancy-related disorder called Hyperemesis Gravidarum which causes severe nausea, weight-loss, dehydration and dizziness which can recur many times during a pregnancy. Prince William joked last week: “I don’t know why they call it morning sickness — they should call it all day and all night sickness. Recovery is a long old process but she is getting there. She feels like it is going to go on forever.”
