Mayim Bialik Hospitalized after Car Accident

Mayim Bialik, beloved actress of the 90’s series “Blossom” and more recently “The Big Bang Theory” was rushed to the hospital yesterday after a carload of Chilean tourists crashed into her white volvo on the corner of LaBrea and Hollywood Blvd. in Los Angeles. The 36 year old actress was travelling alone at the time of the accident and was rushed to a near by hospital by emergency responders. Bialik suffered severe damage in her left hand, almost severing one of her fingers and despite initial concern that she may lose the finger all together the actress took to twitter yesterday, with some help from her husband, to let her fans know that she was in pain but her hand would remain intact. The three passengers in the other car sustained minor injuries and were not taken to the hospital. According to police no citations were issued.
