“Warm Bodies,” the zombie film that’s putting a new spin on the genre, has opened to strong numbers, pulling in $20.4 million on the opening weekend. The Lionsgate’s Summit Entertainment movie drew in female teenagers on a weekend where the entire nation was focused on the Superbowl and the festivities that went with it.
Hollywood.com complied and released a list of the Top 20 movies in Canadian and U.S. theaters from Friday through Sunday on Monday, followed by distribution studio, gross, number of theater locations, average receipts per location, total gross and number of weeks in release.
