Simon Cowell’s “The X Factor” should probably consider switching celebrity judges as a regular theme, as Khloe Kardashian may be the next star to take an exit.

The singing competition, which is judged by three celebrity judges, has seen an array of famous faces in its two seasons. Various media outlets have stated that the E! reality star, Khloe Kardashian may be getting the boot from her hosting gig on “The X Factor”, but executives of the show say they have not made a final decision yet. “The producers have not yet made the talent decisions for this year,” said a representative for the show to FOX 411. Kardashian and Mario Lopez were brought on midway through the second season to host the show.

L.A Reid announced in December that after two seasons,  he was not returning for a third  to focus his efforts on his record label. Britney Spears also left the show after judging for one season. The singer is said be on the works on her eighth studio album and a possible tour. Demi Lovato is leaving the show as well, stating she was not ready for the media attention again after suffering from depression earlier last year. However, Lovato did say she’d loved to see Lady Gaga as a judge on the next season.

Simon Cowell is the only confirmed judge for season three.

It’s been a week of major changes for pop star Britney Spears who announced on Friday that she and longtime boyfriend Jason Trawlick have called off their engagement. The news followed closely on the heels of her decision to leave the popular television show The X-Factor  to focus on her music career and upcoming 8^th studio album.

Just hours after confirming that she and Simon Cowell were parting ways she released a statement confirming the split with Holbrook native Trawick.

“Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement. I’ll always adore him and we will remain great friends.” Trawick released a statement as well saying, “I love and cherish her and her boys, and we will be close forever.” According to Spear’s publicist the decision to split was a difficult one but was mutually agreed on by “two mature adults.” At the time of the announcement Trawick also went to court to officially resign as Spears’ co-conservator, a roll he has played since February of 2008.

All has appeared well for struggling pop star Britney Spears in recent months as she has resurrected her career with a stint on the show “The X-Factor” but a source close to Spears says that she is showing signs of unstable behavior and her boss Simon Cowell is less than pleased.

“She acts like she has a different contract than everyone else,” the source says. “She shows up late, she wanders around aimlessly and she is in her own world. She wasn’t ready for this responsibility.”

Simon Cowell, creator of “The X-Factor” is also disappointed that Britney Spears has not caused the rating boost he was expecting and now her job may be in jeopardy.

Her unusual behavior also caused problems on the set of her new perfume commercial. The singer reportedly first asked producers to fly in Vanilla Ice to perform a duet with her and then wanted exotic animals brought in to appear in the video. When those demands could not be met she went on to insist on doing her own makeup.
