Mariah Carey has dropped fellow judge Randy Jackson as manager. Jackson helped Carey nab the “American Idol” gig with a extravagant amount of $18 million.

Mariah Carey met Randy Jackson in the 1990’s when he was an A&R at Columbia Records. Showbiz411 reports that the pair has gone their separate ways after rumors of disagreements and feuds.

Carey recently released a new single entitled “#Beautiful” and signed a contract with Red Light Management, which also represents artists such as Faith Hill, Alicia Keys, and RadioHead. Showbiz411 states that “hectic” schedules was the reason behind her departure from Jackson who has been managing her since 2011.

Randy Jackson has worked with Mariah Carey throughout her career. In 2011, he produced two of the songs on the soundtrack for the flub “Glitter” in which she starred in. Jackson and Carey did not seem to show any hostility on air. They’ve shared no drama on “American Idol”, unlike Carey’s feud with Nicki Minaj.

It’s unsure if the pair will be working on endeavor in the future. Carey, however, has been quite busy with the release of her first single off of her 14th studio album. The track, “#Beautiful” features Miguel. Mariah Carey is also set to appear in Lee Daniel’s upcoming film “The Butler”. She worked with Daniel’s before with her role in “Precious”.

Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon are still going strong!

So strong that they two renewed their vows Tuesday, on the eve of their 5th wedding anniversary. And of course, why not renew those sacred vows at the most magical place on earth…Disneyland!

Mariah and Nick also celebrated the 2nd birthday of their twins, son Moroccan Scott and daughter Monroe, at a prince and princess-themed party, which took place in the park before their ceremony. So, you know, something for the adults and something for the kiddies! And by something, I mean a lot of corny weirdness.

Carey wore a princess-inspired bridal gown for the event at the well-appointed Dream Suite, tucked away above the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. From the suite, Mariah and Monroe were picked up in a horse-drawn Crystal Carriage that took them to Main Street, where they were greeted by Nick and Moroccan. They walked down the aisle as a family to Sleeping Beauty Castle, which served as the backdrop for the outdoor ceremony.

The Royal Footman from Cinderella, Major Domo, served as Master of Ceremonies for the evening and escorted the approximately 250 guests to Fantasyland for a champagne toast and reception DJ’d by Cannon. The space was adorned with 15,000 blooms imported from South Africa, Holland and France, and 10,000 crystals. Guests were able to take advantage of the park being closed to the public and ride the famous Matterhorn Bobsleds, the King Arthur Carousel and peruse the Peter Pan and Snow White attractions.

At the end of the evening, Major Domo escorted guests back through the castle where the Crystal Carriage met the couple to return them to the Dream Suite.

Earlier in the evening, Moroccan and Monroe celebrated their second birthday with 150 guests in the newly opened Fantasy Faire section of the park. Disney princess characters joined with Mickey and Minnie Mouse to celebrate with the children.

Okay, personally I think the kid thing is cute, but the whole adult prince/princess thing with the kids involved in that just seems…creepy. So- what do YOU think?

Mariah Carey has blessed fans with an all new single called “Almost Home” from the Oz Great and Powerful soundtrack, and the song is a return of her flexing her golden pipes. This isn’t the first time we heard the song either, Carey has been teasing fans with the song for quite some time, and she finally let the whole thing go.

“‘Almost Home’ has a message that works beautifully with the film,” Carey said earlier in a release. “It’s a feel-good record; it gives you the feeling of reaching your home and being with people that you love.” Grab an ear full of the song here and let us know what you think about it down below.

The song would sound right at home on the end credits of some big budget Disney film. “Oz The Great and Powerful,” with James Franco, Michelle Williams, Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz, is out in theaters on March 8.

Nicki Minaj sat down with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show to once again explain that the feud between her and fellow American Idol judge Mariah Carey is no publicity stunt. She did explain however that the tension between the two ladies is nothing personal and that she has always respected Carey. “I’m one of her biggest fans in the world,” she said.

Apparently the fights come from the fact that they are both very passionate about their work. “A lot of it starts off like we’re joking, but passionate and both crazy, “she explained. “And then sometimes it just goes, ‘Roar,’ and you can’t really stop it.”

Minaj acknowledged to Leno the fact that she has quite the temper but has been attempting to keep it under control for the past year. Fans are already eagerly awaiting the start of the new American Idol season to see just how well these two divas are able to play nice or if Nicki’s temper will get the better of her.

The cast of Fox’s ‘American Idol’ took the stage for a Q&A with the Winter TV Press Tour and finally addressed the drama between judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj this week in Pasadena, California. On the presses mind, was the drama real or was it leaked to boost rating for the show?

When asked how the two were able to put the drama behind them Minaj joked, “I put on my sex tape.” Rumors of a sex tape involving the rapper have been circulating since 2010.

“And there it is,” responded Carey. “The whole thing is convoluted. It’s a distraction from the show and a distraction from the contestants.”

“Every time we try to talk about the contestants, we have to field questions about [this]”, Minaj said.

Carey went on to explain “Time heals all wounds.” To which Minaj concluded, “And we watched me tape… We’re professionals. Have you ever had an argument with someone you work with?”

All’s fair in love and reality television. This week the hottest story in the entertainment world has been the huge blow up between diva Mariah Carey and hip hop artist Nicki Minaj. Much of Tuesday’s blowout between the two American Idol judges was captured on video and the published on celebrity gossip site TMZ’s website and now even Barabara Walters is getting in on the action. According to Walters, Mariah Carey told her that Minaj threatened to shoot her. On her talk show ‘The View’ Walters said that in a phone conversation with Mariah Carey that she was told “when Nicki walked off the set multiple people heard Nickio say, ‘If I had a gun I would shoot the …. bitch.” For now the show will go on despite the feud between the pair but its taking a toll on Carey who told Walters that she doesn’t feel “comfortable emotionally” and has had to hire extra security to deal with threat she perceives from her co-worker.

According to celebrity rag Us Weekly another big name star may be signing up to join top talent search show American Idol. The magazine reports that the MC will be signing a contract any day to join the shows 12th season as a judge. This news comes just a month after the announcement that Mariah Carey had signed on as a replacement for Jennifer Lopez who stepped down to focus her energy on family and her music and acting career. With Steven Tyler of the band Aerosmith also leaving Idol had to step up its game in order to compete with the addition of Brittney Spears to the cast of their main rival The X Factor. Lots of celebrity names have been bouncing around from Nick Jonas and Pharell Williams to Katy Perry and Miley Cirus but if Us Weekly is to be believed it looks like Minaj beat out the competition for the job.

Pop megastar Mariah Carey is slated to become the newest host on the popular series American Idol and will reportedly be making between 12 and 15 million a year for the job. Since Jennifer Lopez announced that she would not be returning to the show many names have been suggested as a replacement but Carey, who admits to being a long time fan of the show seems to have one the coveted spot on the lineup. Carey, whose manager is long time Idol host Randy Jackson, is excited to find a more stable career that will allow her plenty of time to be at home with her young family and the show will be a great place for the singer to promote her new album expected out soon. Carey’s husband Nick Cannon is currently working for rival talent show “America’s Got Talent”.
