A cute little kitten was rescued from inside an Abraham Lincoln statue after three days thanks to some caring firefighters and public. No one knows how the tiny kitten managed to get in there, but they knew they had to get him out. “I don’t see how a little kitten, a 3-week old kitten could have gotten up there,” Daniel Davis of the Humane Society told the station. “It couldn’t crawl up there.”

The tiny kitten’s cries could be heard by employees working at the Presidents Hall of Fame, and they alerted the authorities so they could come save it. The Humane Society and Minneola Fire Department had to drill a hole in the statue and climb inside the statue in order to get it out, and it went just as planned. The kitten is now out and doing just fine.

In this cute new video we get to see a cute kitten playing around the house while the owner records. The video starts out with the cute kitten walking up to the camera to investigate what it is before it gets bored and starts exploring it’s surroundings. After walking around for a bit the kitten finds what looks like a ball of yarn and starts going to town on it, laying down and tapping at it with it’s paw.

The owner then gives the kitten a hand by picking up the toy and letting the cat tap at it, which makes the video even more cuter. We then get a few more closeups of the kitten running around playing, exploring, and tapping at a ball that’s almost it’s size. Sadly, on 23 August 2010, the owners found out their little kitty has leukaemia and the FIV virus after a visit to the vet. Check out this super cute video below.
