Wrestling God Hulk Hogan went through a very embarrassing period last year when his sex tape with Bubba the Love Sponge’s ex-wife was leaked all over the internet. Ever since then he’s been fighting in court to get the tape taken off the internet, and that’s going to be a rather tall order for the Hulkster and his team of lawyers.

According to TMZ, Hulk was able to get a temporary restraining order against Gawker Media, effectively stopping the website from showing trailers to the sextape. Gawker complied with the order and has taken down the video, for now, but who knows how long that will last. But Hulk isn’t stopping there, he’s trying to get the sex tape taken down from every single website it’s on too.

Hogan also sent some strongly worded letters to TheDirty.com telling them to take down the excerpts of the video ASAP or else, and the site hasn’t done a thing yet. Hulk might be fighting a losing battle with this one.

Hulk Hogan is headed back to court. Just months after settling his suit against former friend Bubba the Love Sponge, the Hulk slapped the Laser Spine Institute of Tampa, Fla. With a $50 million lawsuit claiming that the performed unnecessary procedures that prematurely ended his career in the wrestling ring.

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, filed papers with the Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Court that state “Bollea…missed out on multiple millions of dollars in opportunities to earn income within his profession due to disability because defendants continued to cause him to needlessly suffer severe back pain, leg pain and other related symptoms.”

Attorneys for Bollea say that he was urged by numerous spine surgeons to undergo a spinal operation but instead followed the advice of the LSI and underwent several “minimally invasive” laser treatments that only gave him temporary relief and ultimately only served to aggravate the problems. The center issued a statement confirming the law suit but refused to discuss details of the case.

Former pro-wrestler Hulk Hogan has decided to abandon his lawsuit against former BFF Bubba the Love Sponge in light of the shock jocks letter of apology issued this week.

Bubba “the Love Sponge” Clem issued a formal apology today as part of a confidential settlement agreement saying; “After further investigation, I am now convinced that Hulk Hogan was unaware of the presence of the recording device in my bedroom. I am convinced he had no knowledge that he was being taped. Additionally, I am certain that he had no role in the release of the video. It is my belief that (he) is not involved, and has not ever been involved, in trying to release the video, or exploit it, or otherwise gain from the video’s release in any way.”

The trouble all started last month when a sex tape featuring the former wrestler and Bubba’s wife Heather Clem was leaked on the internet. Since the release, the Hulk has maintained that he had no idea that his indiscretion was caught on film. On October 15^th Hogan filed a lawsuit against both Clem and Gawker Media, who were steaming the video on their website. The incident took place over 6 years ago at a time when Hogan was having serious problems in his marriage to now ex, Linda Hogan. When the tape was first released Clem maintained that Hogan knew that there were cameras rolling saying on his radio show; “There were three people in that home. All three knew what time it was. You know I have surveillance. You knew of everything going on. But now that your feeling are hurt….you’re trying to cover you’re a** with you wife and your jobs and your social standing.” But in light of the settlement, Clems has done a complete 180, apologizing for going on the offensive and retracting the statements he made in previous weeks about Hogan and his family.

Former wrestler and reality television star Hulk Hogan filed a lawsuit in county court yesterday against his friend, radio talk show host Bubba the Love Sponge, and his ex-wife Heather Clem. According to the law suit, Hogan believes that Bubba and Heather filmed him having sex with Heather at their home without his knowledge 6 years ago. The suit claims that the release of the tape “which is perceived unfavorably by the public” has diminished Hogan’s perceived value. Hogan is also suing Gawker Media for releasing parts of the tape on their celebrity gossip website gawker.com. The suit is asking for $100 million from Gawker Media and the removal of the footage from their website. They are also seeking to have the video and all copies handed over so that they can be destroyed. Bubba and Hogan have been close friends for years, Hogan was best man at Bubba’s wedding, and it is unclear why the tape was released in the first place. Lawyers for Bubba claim that he had nothing to do with the film’s release and would like to find the person responsible.

I was with some friends, and I made a wrong choice. And now of all of a sudden it surface, you know over six years later, and it’s just appalling. It’s totally flipped my new life and my new role upside down.”
