Former Tour de France champion cyclist Lance Armstrong sat down for a heart to heart interview with Oprah Winfrey today but first he addressed his Livestrong Foundation staffers in Austin, Texas to apologize for his recent fall from grace.

Rae Bazzarre, who is the foundation’s Director of Communications and External Affairs said that  Armstrong, “offered a sincere and heartfelt apology for the stress [the Livestrong staff has] endured because of him and urged them to keep up the great work fighting for people affected by cancer.”

Last October, Armstrong was forced to step down as Livestrong’s chairman after doping allegation caused him to lose his 7 tour de France victories and be banned from professional cycling for life. Throughout it all Armstrong still maintains that he is innocent and has never used performance enhancing drugs. His Oprah Winfrey interview is scheduled to air on Thursday where he will be once again forced to confront the allegations that ruined his career.

Charlie Sheen once again shocked the entertainment world last week when he shouted out a homophobic slur at the opening of his new lounge in Cabo San Lucas, but now the actor is saying that the incident was an accident and that he is sorry.

Sheen took to the stage at El Ganzo Friday night to warm up the crowd before a performance by former Guns n’ Roses guitarist Slash saying: “How are we doing? Lying bunch of f****t a**holes. How we doing?” But Sheen is claiming that he was misunderstood.

Sheen spoke to TMZ about the incident saying, “I meant no ill will and intended to hurt no one and I apologize if I offended anyone. I meant to say maggot but i have a lisp.” Its doubtful that anyone is buying that story but at least Charlie Sheen ended the year with one act of kindness. He recently donated $75,000 to a young girl battling cancer.

Ke$ha’s hit song “Die Young” has been pulled out of rotation at radio stations around the country in the wake of the shootings in Newtown, Connecticut last week and on Tuesday the pop star issued a statement apologizing for the now controversial lyrics. In the apology Ke$ha explained that she was “forced” to sing the lyrics but later deleted the post and apologized again and explained that she understood that the song was inappropriate. Today the singer took to her website to backtrack on her earlier claims and explain that no one forced her to sing “Die Young.”
“After such a tragic event I was feeling a lot of emotion and sadness when I said I was forced to sing some of the lyrics to Die Young. Forced is not the right word. I did have some concerns about the phrase “die young” in the chorus when we were writing the lyrics especially because so many of my fans are young and that’s one reason why I wrote so many versions of this song. But the point of the song is the importance of living every day to the fullest and staying young at heart, and these are things I truly believe, “ she said.

Ice may love Coco but he’s none to happy with his blond bombshell wife this week as images emerged of her looking cozy with young rapper AP 9. Ice-T headed straight to Twitter to address the photos saying: “Don’t get it twisted, I’m not happy about this s–t. Most of [the pics are] disrespectful and in bad taste. She’s made me look and feel like s–t.” THe tweets have since been deleted by the Law & Order: SVU star.
Shortly after Ice-T tweeted his feelings Coco responded with a Twitter apology saying: “Ice is right, the pics I took with this man were in poor taste & I disrespected my husband however the pics were the only thing that happened. I feel so sad, the bottom line is I love Ice & I can understand why he’s upset there’s no excuse for my actions. I’m so sorry baby & to everyone.” Looks like things have been worked out between the lovebirds however as Coco tweeted yesterday that she was hanging out with her man on the set of his TV show.

Just days after a 2004 performance featuring anti-American lyrics surfaced, Gangnam Style rapper Psy took to the stage at the White House to perform as part of the annual “Christmas in Washington” charity concert.
Psy was forced to issue an apology on Friday after reports of a 2004 performance in which he sang lyrics about Americans dying “slowly and painfully” began circulating. The rapper has since gone on to say that the lyrics were “inflammatory and inappropriate.”

“The song I was featured in – from eight years ago – was part of a deeply emotional reaction to the war in Iraq and the killing of two innocent Korean civilians that was part of the overall antiwar sentiment shared by others around the world at the time,” he explained. “While I’m grateful for the freedom to express one’s self I’ve learned there are limits to what language is appropriate and I’m deeply sorry for how these lyrics could be interpreted.”

Kim Kardashian issued a statement today apologizing for the comments she made on Twitter yesterday in regards to the increased violence between Palestine and Isreal. The reality star said she wanted to “own up” for writing the two tweets: “Praying for everyone in Israel” and later, “Praying for everyone in Palestine and across the world!”

In her statement Kim explained; “I want to own up to and explain that earlier today I sent out two tweets about saying prayers for the people in Palestine and Israel and after hearing from my followers, I decided to take down the tweets because I realized that some people were offended and hurt by what u said, and for that I apologize. I should have pointed out my intentions behind these tweets when I posted them. The fact is that regardless of religion and political beliefs, there are countless innocent people involved who didn’t choose this, and I pray for all of them and also for a resolution.”

Victoria’s Secret came under some heavy fire over the weekend, drawing complaints of ignorance of history and tribal culture, after one of their models sauntered down the runway in a Native American-style headdress during the lingerie maker’s annual fashion show.

Victoria’s secret has promised to remove the outfit from the upcoming televised version of the fashion show and will not use it in marketing materials. The company went on to say; “We sincerely apologize as we had no intention to offend anyone.”

Headdresses are traditionally a sign of respect in Native American culture and are worn by war chiefs and warriors. Each feather is meant to symbolize an act of bravery or compassion.

This is only the latest of several scandals involving the use of Native American motifs. Last month the band No Doubt came under fire for their depiction of Native Americans in a new music video and last year clothing manufacturer Urban Outfitters received enormous criticism for their line of Navajo inspired accessories that included underwear and flasks.

Former pro-wrestler Hulk Hogan has decided to abandon his lawsuit against former BFF Bubba the Love Sponge in light of the shock jocks letter of apology issued this week.

Bubba “the Love Sponge” Clem issued a formal apology today as part of a confidential settlement agreement saying; “After further investigation, I am now convinced that Hulk Hogan was unaware of the presence of the recording device in my bedroom. I am convinced he had no knowledge that he was being taped. Additionally, I am certain that he had no role in the release of the video. It is my belief that (he) is not involved, and has not ever been involved, in trying to release the video, or exploit it, or otherwise gain from the video’s release in any way.”

The trouble all started last month when a sex tape featuring the former wrestler and Bubba’s wife Heather Clem was leaked on the internet. Since the release, the Hulk has maintained that he had no idea that his indiscretion was caught on film. On October 15^th Hogan filed a lawsuit against both Clem and Gawker Media, who were steaming the video on their website. The incident took place over 6 years ago at a time when Hogan was having serious problems in his marriage to now ex, Linda Hogan. When the tape was first released Clem maintained that Hogan knew that there were cameras rolling saying on his radio show; “There were three people in that home. All three knew what time it was. You know I have surveillance. You knew of everything going on. But now that your feeling are hurt….you’re trying to cover you’re a** with you wife and your jobs and your social standing.” But in light of the settlement, Clems has done a complete 180, apologizing for going on the offensive and retracting the statements he made in previous weeks about Hogan and his family.
