Selena Gomez Almost Unrecongizable In Photo Shoot For i-D Magazine

Selena Gomez toned it down a bit for her latest photo shoot with i-D. The singer is almost unrecognizable as she trades in her bejeweled gowns for a simple black top and jeans.

The singles channels her masculine side in the latest fashion shoot for the London based magazine’s street issue. “It’s so easy to wear incredible, beautiful dresses and look super glamorous, because you have the power of Photoshop, but a shoot that’s really stripped-down and raw is really fun to do,” said the singer. “I was being rained on, it was freezing, I was covered in a giant sweater and my hair was all over the place. I got to just be in that moment and feel like I was there.”

Gomez is seen in the black and white photo alongside two other females with shaved heads and heavy eyeliner. She shows off her serious side with the fresh face pose and glare to the camera. Definitely different than her most recent music video for Slow Down.

She chats with the magazine about her love for music and her favorite fellow singer, Britney Spears. “The Baby One More Time …concert was amazing,” gushed Gomez. “I sat all the way up in the nosebleeds and I could barely see her, but I remember it being the best day of my life. I had my hair in a ponytail and I knew all the words to the songs. I’ll always remember it.”
