Sally Struthers, the All in the Family actress, pleaded not guilty to drunk driving charges in Maine on Thursday.
Struthers did not appear in court, but her lawyer was there on her behalf reports the Press Herald. Struthers was arrested in September on suspicion of operating under the influence after police pulled her over on U.S. Route 1 in Ogunquit, Maine. At the time of her arrest, Struthers had been performing in the stage musical “9 to 5” as Roz Klein at the Ogunquit Playhouse. She was posted out on bail for only $160.
Struthers is set to appear in court for a bench trial on February 13. The 64-year-old faces a $400 fine and a 90 day license suspension, but has no risk of actual jail time due to her being a first time offender.
Sally Struthers is best known for her role as Gloria Stivic on All in the Family but has acted in various roles since the 1960s.
