MTV’s “Buckwild” Star Salwa Amin Arrested In Drug Raid

According to TMZ, “Buckwild” star was busted in a drug raid. Salwa Amin was found in a shed during the raid where cops allegedly took in a vast amount of drugs and money.

The Police Chief in Summerville, West Virginia arrested Amin along with two other men after a full day of surveillance. The chief said that the drug task force received a tip that a shipment would be sent to the home in Nicholas County sometime on Sunday. The force observed a lot of foot traffic coming in and out of the home, but only  for short periods of time. They received a search warrant and raided the residence.

According to the chief, Salwa, Shawn L. Booker, and Jason D. Jones, who owns the home, were found hiding in a shed in the backyard. TMZ reports that Amin had a significant amount of Oxycodine in her purse and Booker had a “large amount of money” on him. The drug task force also found three separate packages of heroin, but were unclear about the specific amount. The police stated that Jones turned on Salwa and Booker, claiming that they transported the drugs to his home with the intent to distribute.

“Buckwild” is a reality series on MTV. The show, described as the Jersey Shore in the South, has just been announced for a second season. Salwa appears on the show. Booker and Jones do not appear on the series.
