Election day has arrived and everyone has began speaking out against the opposing candidtates. Frontman of English rock band Motorhead, Lemmy Kilmister, came out against Presidential candidate Mitt Romney begging American citizens to not vote for him.
“Please, please don’t vote for Mitt Romney,” stated Kilmister said during an interview with Rolling Stone, calling the Republican candidate a “f—king monster”. Kilmister is known for being so outspoken and brash, and is often openly speaking about everything from his sex life to his disdain for politics. When asked whether he had been watching the debates, the musician responded “I couldn’t bear it.”
His opinion of President Obama, Kilmister says, “I mean, the poor f—er’s only gotten rid of all that George Bush s— that the left or is trying to. And he’s been stonewalled by the f—g Congress all the time. I don’t know how he’s gotten anything done.”
Kilmister isn’t the only celebrity with something to say about the election. Many celebrities have come out in support of their candidate including Melissa Joan Hart, Beyonce, Elizabeth Banks, and Jay Z. To everyone’s surprise, Stacey Dash has spoken up for the Romney campaign despite the backlash. This is all just the opinion of Kilmister. Although he has lived in L.A since 1990, the rocker is not a citizen of the United States.
Election day is here and now is the final chance to cast the vote for your candidate of choice.
