Miley Cyrus’s Parents File For Divorce

Miley Cyrus has been in the news lately from a range of things from her music, to twerking, to rumors that her engagement has been called off, but now the attention has moved towards her parents. Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus are heading for divorce for a second time after Tish filed divorce papers on Thursday, citing irreconcilable difference.

Three years ago, Billy Ray filed to end his marriage to Tish, but ended up dropping the request after a change of heart in only six months. At that time, the family released the following statement: “As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family..We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.”

The couple has been married for 19 years and have three children together, as well as two from Tish’s first marriage. Miley, 20, Braison, 10, Noah, 13, Brandi, 26, and Trace, 24. Billy Ray adopted the latter two when they were really young.

Tish has requested custody of daughter, Noah, who’s still a minor. Tish is also seeking spousal support and attorney’s fees. “This is a personal matter and we are working to find a resolution that is in the best interest of our family,” she told TMZ. “We ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”
