Have you ever asked yourself, ‘I wonder how Mac Miller lives?’, well with his new reality show out, you’ll get a chance to find out. But, taking it from the Pittsburgh rapper, the series won’t be all that. Mac Miller stars in “Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family” that features the emcee’s everyday life with special appearances by his notable homies. He even promises a drop by from School Boy Q.
“In episode three or four, School Boy Q makes the most legendary guest appearance of all time. It’s really something,” said Mac on Wednesday’s “RapFix Live”. “You’re gonna be like, ‘I really hate Mac Miller for this’ and it’s gonna be awesome.” The series features Mac and his friends Quentin, Jimmy, Peanut, and Big Dave and the many adventures they find themselves in. Think of it as a mixture between “Entourage” and “Rob and Bid”.
When asked about his decision to do a reality show, Miller joked,”All that money baby.” While his rap name is on the line, he wanted to have something to share with his fans. “I realized that it’s just kinda cool to give to my fans and give them a little something more.”
The series debut on MTV2 on Wednesday night and Mac got a chance to watch himself on tv, which solidified his decision to join the reality tv epidemic. “We watched it and I was still kinda in the mindset that it was gonna suck, but it was actually tight. I was happy with it, it was actually kinda funny,” he said. “For the past few months of filming it’s just been me being and idiot every day. I didn’t know if that would make a good TV show.”
“Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family” airs on MTV2 on Wednesdays.
