Lindsay Lohan To Receive New Plea Deal In Crash Case

According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan may have been drinking when she wrecked her Porsche last June on the Pacific Coast Highway. The troubled actress has been in court over the incident, but may receive a new plea deal that doesn’t involve jail.

A bottle of alcohol was found next to Lohan’s Porsche. The actress also smelled of alcohol, but cops did not perform a field sobriety test at the scene of the crash. The new deal will includes an offer that Lohan stays 60 days in a residential rehab facility, which is four months less than the previous deal. The City Attorney also wants Lohan to attend sets of AA meetings and community services. The prosecutor will allow for Lindsay to complete her community service in New York, but it will have to be closely monitored.

The City Attorney is also involved in another case with Lindsay Lohan over the jewelry heist case in which the actress is still on probation. The attorney would like her to see jail time for violating her probation, but the prosecutor is not as adamant.

The plea bargain trial begins on Wednesday. Lindsay is represented by her lawyer, Mark Heller.

It seems as if luck is on the side of the once loved actress and many are still rooting for her combat. After rumors of her extreme behavior on movie sets and poor performances in films, it is unsure if a comeback is in her near future. But, if Britney Spears can do it, why not Lindsay?
