Lady Gaga Shares A Revealing Selfie On Website

Lady Gaga is known for shocking fans with her dramatic appearances, but this time was a little different. The internet went crazy when the “Born This Way” singer posted a surprisingly, makeup free photo of herself on her website.

Along with the photo, came a post where she wrote, “It’s a scary thing to revisit the things underneath, the pain in your past, but all I found was raw passion.” The singer continued, “I thought I was destroyed inside. I’m just ready to fight. Start the music.”

Gaga is known for her elaborate stage costumes and makeup. In the photo, she shows off her pale complexion that contrasts sharply with her dark hair. She almost looks unrecognizable. Gaga has ventured out before and showcased a makeup-less face. In fact, she did so on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar and on her Twitter page. “Whether I’m wearing lots of makeup or no makeup, I’m always the same person inside,” she revealed to the fashion magazine. 

On Monday, a photo of the singer in the nude for V Magazine hit the web also. The totally nude spread was shot by Dutch fashion photographers Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadi.

Lady Gaga is gearing up to drop the first single off of her highly anticipated album, ARTPOP, on August 19.
