Kristen Wiig Splits From Rocker Fabrizio Morietti

Funny lady, Kristen Wiig has splitted from her rocker boyfriend, Fabrizio Morietti. The couple were together for over a year and a half.

A source tells People magazine that the Saturday Night Live actor and Strokes drummer reportedly broke up on “completely amicable” terms and that they are still “friends”.

Moretti has had a few romantic connections with high profile actors such as Drew Barrymore  for five years and Kirsten Dunst. Ironically, Wig often impersonated Barrymore on Saturday Night Live and co-starred with her in Whip It. “It seems fitting that they would find each other,” commented Barrymore on the couple to Allure magazine. “I was like, ‘Right, of course, that makes perfect sense.'”

Wig was married to actor Hayes Hargrove for four years before dating producer Brian Petsos, and later moved on to the rocker. Wiig and Moretti were first spotted together in December of 2011. They’re relationship was private, but Wigg told Marie Claire in August of 2011 on how he was the reason for her happiness. “I will say that I’m happier than I’ve ever been and I feel very lucky right now. Where I am now. Who he is. Those are the two big ones.”

The comedian has moved from SNL to pursue more major films. She recently starred in the animated film  Despicable Me 2 and  will soon appear in Girl Most Likely and Anchorman: The Legend Continues to name a few.
