Kanye West Goes On Epic Rant During Adult Film Upfront

Kanye West is a pretty outspoken artist who isn’t scared to speak his mind, we all know that. It’s because of this straightforwardness that Mr. West has chosen not to do interviews for the press, but he’s more than willing to speak his mind during one of his shows.

West was invited to perform at a “secret show” Wednesday night that was actually Adult Swim’s upfront, which is where a network shows off it’s upcoming lineup of shows to advertisers. The show took place in New York’s Roseland Ballroom and West came out in typical fashion, in the middle of an all-white pyramid. West performed some of his biggest hits, which included “Jesus Walks” and “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” and newer songs like “All of the Lights,” “Clique” and “Mercy.”

After performing “Runaway,” West went on another epic rant that called out the paparazzi and how they’re always snapping photos in his face. “I don’t know if you know there’s one thing about me, but I’m not a celebrity,” West sang/said. “I don’t know if you know there’s one thing about me, but I’m a terrible, terrible celebrity. I don’t know if you know there’s one thing about me, but I’m the worst kind of celebrity … Because I only make real music … I’m only up in the studio to make real sh-t … I don’t want nobody coming up to me with cameras and sh-t … Selling pictures to a f–king magazine … Asking me dumb f–king questions … Because I’m not a motherf–king celebrity … I only make music that inspires you to be the best you can be — And I don’t want anyone to ask anything else of me.”
