Justin Timberlake has joined the list of performers for the 55 Annual Grammy Awards. The singer is continuing his return to music, after dropping new single “Suit and Tie” featuring Jay Z.
JT, a six time Grammy winner, will take the illustrious stage for the first time in four years. This will be the first television debut of his new music from the singer since releasing his last album seven years ago. Other A-lists performers include Rihanna, Fun, Jack White, the Black Keys, the Lumineers, and Mumford & Sons. This year’s Grammy efforts went to include more country acts into the ceremony, including performances by Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley, and Miranda Lambert. The Nomination Ceremony was aired in Nashville this past year where Taylor Swift co-hosted alongside LL Cool J. There will also be a special first-time debut between Elton John and Ed Sheeran. LL Cool J hosts the awards show for the second year in a row. This year’s leading nominees include Jay Z, Kanye West, Fun, and newcomer Frank Ocean.
Performing on the Grammys comes part of Justin Timberlake’s return to music. He will take the stage at the DIRECTV Super Saturday Night event on February 2, the day before the Super Bowl. Timberlake recently released a lyric video for his latest single “Suit & Tie” saying that it was his attempt to make the greatest clip lyric clip of all time. At the end of the video, the singer announced the release date of his newest album The 20/20 Experience for March 19.
