Julianne Moore, the actress who has starred in cult classics like ‘The Big Lebowski” and “Benny and Joon” has reported that $127,000 worth of jewelry has been stolen from her West Village brownstone in New York City. In total ten items were taken, seven of them from Cartier, including a $33,000 platinum diamond tennis bracelet. The award winning actress says that they were taken from her home on 11th street sometime between early June and late August. No arrests have been made in the case so far but police are investigating workers who were doing repairs at the home between those dates. Moore, who was in Toronto working on the remake of the classic Steven King horror movie Carrie for most of the summer, and her husband Bart Freudlich had approximately 15-25 construction workers in and out of their home doing renovations on the brownstone. Police are interviewing all of the men that access to the home over the summer in connection with grand larceny charges.
