‘How I Met Your Mother’ star gets married

Cobie Smulders, star of ‘How I Met Your Mother’, married boyfriend and ‘Saturday Night Live’ star, Taran Killiam Saturday. Smulders, who plays Robin on the hit CBS network comedy, said ‘I do’ at the Alisal Guest Ranch and Resort in California in a ceremony that reportedly lasted only 15 minutes. The ceremony was followed by a hay ride with their family and friends to a nearby lake for the reception. The couple, both 30 years old, had announced their engagement back in 2009 after a holiday proposal. The couple also have a three year old daughter who was apparently just as excited about the big day as her mom and dad. “She really wants a dress and she wants white shoes,” Cobie recently told People Magazine. Smulders ‘How I met Your mother’ co-star Alyson Hannigan was reportedly a guest at the weekend event.
