Chris Brown Cancels Show Over Protests

R&B crooner Chris Brown has had a long road of redemption ever since he assaulted then girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 while on the way to the Grammy’s. Chris Brown had to perform community service and take anger management classes for what he did that night, and his fight to win back his fans was even harder.

But after a few years of Hard work Chris Brown is back on top of the music industry, and is selling out stadiums all over the world. But not everyone has forgotten what happened that fateful night in 2009.

Chris Brown canceled a concert in Guyana after Women’s Rights Groups started protesting due to what he did in 2009. This isn’t the first time something like that happened to Brown, but it’s something that hasn’t happened in quite some time either. According to the concert promoters Hits & Jams Entertainment, Chris Brown backed out of performing in Guyana because of the protests from the different groups.

These protests come at a strange time, because Chris brown and Rihanna are once again an item, and they have both released several records together, including a duet on Rihanna’s newest album.
