Peter Robbins, the iconic voice behind Charlie Brown, has found himself in hot water after getting arrested for stalking and threatening his ex-girlfriend.
Robbins, 56, appeared in San Diego Superior Court on Wednesday and plead not guilty to charges that he threatened his ex-girlfriend and a plastic surgeon who performed a breast-augmentation surgery on her because he was displeased with the results of the operation. Robbins reportedly paid for the entire operation and demanded a refund after he saw the outcome of the surgery.
Robbins faces 10 counts of criminal threats and two counts of stalking and is currently sitting behind bars, with his bail set at $550,000. He was apprehended by border security on Sunday at the San Ysidro Port of Entry in San Diego after officers ran his name through a database and found that he had a felony warrant for his arrest for crimes against a person.
As a child, Robbins voiced several Peanuts TV classics including A Boy Named Charlie Brown and A Charlie Brown Christmas.
