From acting, parenting, to philanthropy, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are a busy pair. The couple has decided to take a hack at the world of winery! Cheers, Pitt and Jolie will be releasing their own wine in the United States starting next month.
According to People, the couple is in the works to release a vintage, 2012 pink rose wine on March 15. The line will be called Miraval, reportedly. It is the same name as the couple’s 1,000-acre French estate that has its own vineyard.
Marc Perrin is joining Brad and Angelina in this business venture. He told business magazine Challenges about the couple’s involvement in the process, stating, “We talked a lot and did the first harvest together. They are very demanding in seeking excellence in the quality and character of their wine.” If their business minds are as talented as their acting, this business is already fit for success.
Perrin, Jolie, and Pitt are said to be following up the March 15th launch of the pink rose wine with a line of organic white and red wines later this year. The pink rose wine will be reviewed in an upcoming edition of Wine Spectator.
It’s a wonder how the couple even has time to run a new business with their current busy schedules. Brad Pitt is starring in new film, “World War Z”, a zombie film set to release in June of this year. Jolie has been at work on producing and starring in Disney film “Maleficent”, which also stars the couple’s daughter, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt as Aurora. Not to mention, wedding bells are in the near future for the pair who have been dating for over eight years.
