Producer/rapper Lostarr hooks up with Big K.R.I.T to drop an all new banger called “U Don’t Know Me,” a hot new street single that aims to educate the masses about the struggles both these guys had to go through in order to get where they are today.  Lostarr opens up about his days hustling on the streets and having to see his friends getting 25 years at a young age.

You might have never heard of Zuse but after this all new “MayDay” banger featuring Young Thug the whole world is gonna know his name. Produced by Metro Boomin, these two stellar artists take turns beating the track up like it owed them money. I’m talking throwing hands on sight, no talk straight action. Zuse kicks it off first and goes in on the haters thinking they can do anything to him. But the truth of the matter is they can’t because it’s his town.

Young Thug, easily the man of the hour in rap right now, shows us why everyone’s been talking about him with a stellar verse about the streets and keeping it all the way real. The flow he used on the “MayDay” song is outta this world, he musta got his hands on TuneChi’s stash. The big hpmey Columbia BT kicks it off by rapping about the crazy ass chicks he’s had to deal with in his life and all the psycho crap they do like go through his phone and asking him questions all the damn time. Even though they’re not in a relationship. Listening to this song brings back a lot of crazy memories for me, no pun intended.

Can we talk about the hook for a second? It’s FANTASTIC! Rich Homie Quan is slowly becoming the go to guy when it comes to choruses and you can easily see why on this song. If you really think Rich Homie peaked after his “Some Type Of Way” song then this track will most definitely shut you up. These ain’t rented ladies and gentleman.

Rocko jumps on the track next like the boss he is and spits a vicious verse about all the balling ass shit he does on a day to day basis, including the fact that every car he drives has a V12. Music mogul Jay-Z is known for being very guarded about his private life but he’s giving fans an in depth look into the songs on the upcoming Magna Carta Holy Grail album that comes out July 4. On this particular ad, Jay-Z opens up to legendary producer Rick Rubin about fatherhood and how he’s striving to be a good father because his pops was never there for him. All these things are what lead Jay-Z to create a song called “Jay-Z Blue,” which is an ode to his daughter with wife Beyonce.

“It deals with [the fact that] my pop left when I was young. He didn’t teach me how to be a man nor how to raise a child — or treat a woman,” a somewhat emotional Jay-Z tells Rick Rubin of the track. “The two things I need, I don’t have … and I have a daughter. It’s [about] the paranoia of not being a great dad.”

Legendary producer Rick Rubin has been one of the prominent faces featured on Jay-Z’s new Samsung ads for “Magna Carta Holy Grail,” but he didn’t actually do anything on the upcoming album.

The bearded music guru, who recently executive produced Kanye West’s 6th studio album “Yeezus,” said that he only appeared in the ads because Jay wanted a familiar face to talk and bounce ideas with. “The point of me being in the commercials was that he was filming a documentary and he asked me—I imagine he’s just comfortable talking to me—to come listen to the songs with him and just talk about the songs,” Rubin told XXL. “Just listen to it and talk about it, and that’s what we did. It was fun.”

Rubin and Jay-Z famously worked together on the 2004 smash hit “99 Problems,” so it was assumed that they would be teaming up to make another classic together. When asked about what he thought of “Magna Carta Holy Grail” so far Rubin was very candid in his response.

“I liked what I heard, but it was a little difficult—after just coming from the Kanye sessions—to listen to Jay’s album, because they’re so different,” he said. “I was in a very alternative and progressive headspace, and Jay’s record is a more traditional hip-hop record.”

The Biebs has been earning a reputation for being a bit of a jerk, and it’s starting to seem like it really might be true. Justin Bieber and six of his friends visited Las Vegas Indoor Skydiving on Sunday, June 16, and behaved so badly that the facility has banned the pop star from ever stepping foot in the place again.

According to people who were present to witness what went down, the 19-year-old Bieber showed up minutes before closing time with his security team and six people, and promised to pay for the session after flying around. When the person in charge approached Justin and his team about paying for the skydiving session, he was given the option of either paying cash money or simply posting a picture of himself on Instagram enjoying himself with a positive comment.

Bieber agreed to post a picture of himself on Instagram in exchange for a free session, but he lied and did no such thing. If Justin had paid for himself and his group rather than agreeing to the Instagram option, it would’ve cost $1,600. Definitely more bad publicity that Bieber does not need right now.

The legendary Earth, Wind & Fire R&B group is known for making some of the best soul music around, and they’re not done doing so yet. The group has decided to release a new album called Now, Then & Forever that’s due Sept. 10th of this year. Earth, Wind & Fire were originally going to release the album around the 2012 presidential election, but the band  wasn’t satisfied with the songs they had made so far.

“We have a lot more bells and whistles in place now and the record is better,” singer Philip Bailey said in a recent interview. Now, Then & Forever will be the band’s first studio album in eight years, and was produced with the help of co-founding member Larry Dunn and others.

“I said, `Let’s go back to the drawing board,'” Bailey said. “It’s a great representation of who Earth, Wind and Fire is now, but not departing from the classic sound.”

“It doesn’t sound like we’re trying to be anyone other than Earth, Wind and Fire,” added bassist Verdine White.

Actor James Gandolfini, best known for his role as Tony Soprano, passed away on Wednesday at the age of 51 while on vacation in Italy with his family. The news sent shockwaves and had fans reeling from the fact that such a talented and kind person passed away so soon. When an autopsy was finally performed on Gandolfini, it confirmed fears that the “Sopranos” star died of a heart attack, a family spokesman said Friday.

Michael Kobold spoke to reporters and told them that Gandolfini’s body was already released to a funeral director and that the family was hard at work with the Italian government to help speed up the process and get his body back home to the United States. He had arrived in Rome on Tuesday and spent his first full day in the Eternal City with his teen-age son, visiting the Vatican and dining in the hotel, the luxury Boscolo Exedra. They dined together in the hotel on Wednesday night, awaiting the arrival in Rome of Gandolfini’s sister, Leta.

This might come as a surprise to you, and it sure did surprise me, but famed Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is one of the few who have seen Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s new baby girl North West, who was born five weeks early last Saturday. Wozniak, better known as Woz, broke the news while speaking to Piers Morgan on CNN’s Piers Morgan Live this past Thursday night.

“I have seen a lot of babies, and a baby represents the love between the people and that meant more to me and the love that Kim was showing to Kanye. Just because he was interested in technology and companies, she, as a birthday present, she had me up come there to meet him,” said Wozniak.

Wozniak went on to say, “Unbelievable that a woman would do that. I mean I just think she is doing everything she can to show her love to a man.” North West and her loving parents left L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai hospital overnight Thursday after spending the last five days there.
