Ariel Winter’s mother files defamation lawsuit against actor

Ariel Winter’s mother continues to deny that she ever abused her daughter and now she is suing a man who called her “an abusive monster.”
Chrisoula Workman lost custody of her daughter back in October after Winter’s big sis Shanelle Gray accused her of being both physically and emotionally abusive and now Workman is suing an acquaintance of Shanelle’s for defamation of character over his abusive monster comment.
The comment appeared in an article last month, where Matthew Borlenghi is quoted as saying: “The mother is grasping and clawing to find a way not to lose her money-maker, and hide the fact that she is an abusive monster. Having spent time with he… these accusations are disgusting, just as he is.”
Workman continues to maintain her innocence insisting that Gray wants to care of Winter in order to take advantage of her Hollywood contacts and that Winter is just going through a rebellious phase and is angry at her mother for breaking up her relationship with her 19 year-old boyfriend.
