Adele Confirms She’s Working On A New Album

Rumor has it that Adele is in the works on a new album. After taking time  off to care for her new baby boy, Adele is finally back in the studio working on new music. The British singer confirmed at the Grammy’s last Sunday that she is in the early stages of creating her next album.

“I’m not very far along at all,” she revealed. “I’m having lots of meetings. I’ve been in L.A. for the whole time since the [Golden] Globes, and I will be until the Oscars. I’ve  been having lots of meetings. I’ve been out of the loop really. I’ve been singing my baby nursery rhymes, so I don’t really know what’s cool and what’s not. I’m definitely going to visit Paul Epsworth and stuff like that again.”

Adele has worked with Epsworth before on “Rolling In The Deep” and “Skyfall”, which she won a Golden Globe for. Adele is known for her heartbreaking love ballads, but now that’s she happy with fiance Simon Konecki and their baby boy, who know’s what to expect from the singer’s next project. “21” has reached diamond status and has been the top selling album for two consecutive years.

Adele will be performing “Skyfall” at the Academy Awards to air on February 28.
