Drake is beginning his promo trail for the release of his latest album, Nothing Was The Same. The first stop for the Canadian rapper; the cover of Billboard Magazine. The rapper is all smiles nowadays and shows off his big smile in the simple cover for the music magazine.
The headline for the cover reads “Drake finds happiness”. Drake is spotted in front of a grey back drop with a black t-shirt and cap, grinning from ear to ear. The full story has yet to be released, but the issue hits stands this month. Only a quote is found on the cover from the artist. “I’m 26, I don’t know what else I could be doing better than this. I feel incredible.”
The Young Money rapper pushed back the release of his album just a week to finish of the final touches. The album will include features from Lil Wayne and Jay Z, as well as getting producer credits from long time collaborator “40”. Drake has yet to release a tracklist, but has dropped several songs that could wind up on the album. Most recently, the rapper dropped a major collab with Big Sean and 2Chainz with “All Me” and took it all the way to R&B with the record “Hold On, We’re Going Home”.
Drake had a stellar performance at the VMA’s where he imitated his signature album cover and rocked out to “Started From The Bottom”. Nothing Was The Same drops September 24 and the full Billboard story is on its way as well.
